New CT from LFS, is he hurt or fine?

I just got this guy today, he was the most interesting betta I have found in the chain pet stores so I got him thinking his coloring was very unique but after looking at him awhile in his new home I'm wondering if hes got an illness or wound on is head, he is swimming around just fine, super aggressive though. As you can see in the pictures his whole head is dark red with white/yellow color on the underside, does this look normal or does it look like something I should be concerned about? thanks!

I'm pretty sure that's normal coloring.

i've seen that listed as a "sunburned" head on AB...basically a piebald betta with a small amount of red pigment.

His head is called a "piebald". Perfectly fine and normal, even desirable! He's also a marble, so have fun with that!

Alright thanks everybody I appreciate it, a few days later hes still doing well, chasing red cherry shrimp from one end of the tank to another like lightning bolts hehe, hes still too slow to get a bite which I'm thankful for
