Well West seems to be happy but...

I moved him into his new 10 gallon tank today. It's got a few fake plants and this little open mouth fish..thing that he can swim in and out of.

I have noticed a few things though, not sure if they are normal.
1: He's basically swimming against the glass, like straight into it. Not slamming into it, jut swimming against it. I thought it might have been his reflection but he isn't flaring.

2: I've seem him basically lay on the gravel for a second, and also hang out right at the surface for a while.

3: He pretty much just hangs out around the filter. This could be nothing. I feel like he might just be playing with the but of current around that area.

He really just seems a lot more active than I've seen so far, but I've only had him a couple of days.

Haha sorry!
He's good. Seems to be pretty happy and active. I've come home to a bubble nest since for the past two days, but none today. But I'm not going to read too much into that.
I've got a few pictures I need to upload off my phone so you guys can see.

I'm glad he likes his new home. No bubble nest might mean he's having too much fun with the filter, lol. One of my girls loves the filter in my sorority tank. It's baffled & she swims up on one side lets the current catch her & then does a swim loop around to the other side so she can the current on the other side like she's riding an imaginary water slide or something.

I can't wait to see pics.

Yeah.. don't read into the bubble nests.. fish can't feel "happy", so they go by instinct when it comes to bubble nests - territorial, mating, dropping berometer/weather system coming through, etc.
Could also be the current is too strong for him to build one..

It seems like he is being normal for a fish.. :)
