What kind of betta is this (new addition!).

He still needs a name, but this is my new baby.
What kind of tail type is this?

He was mismarked in the store as a veil tail.
I don't think that's what he is.

Unfortunately it is really difficult to determine tail type without a picture of him flaring. Whatever he is, very pretty!

It's hard to tell from those pics because he's so clamped up in them. Try getting a pic when he's flaring or spreading his fins. This can be difficult to do with a new/shy betta I know. From those live he looks like a delta tail.

I'll do my best to get one in the next few days - he's super shy still. I think going from a cup to ten gallon kind of freaked him out, haha.

I'll update this soon!

Based on the shape of the tail, he's at least a delta! Poor guy looks super skinny! Good thing you found him and brought him home!

He looks like a delta or super delta to me. He's gorgeous. :) I believe that he is a marble and that other colors will be added amongst the white.

He looks delta or super delta like Kiara1125 said, and I also think he will marble. But either way, he is still so gorgeous!!
