Hello from downunder :)

Hi everyone I'm from Victoria, Australia and have been lurking and reading everyone's posts (as well as ogling over all the gorgeous fish!)....so finally thought I'd join up to say hi.
I've just re-set up my 90 litre (24 gallon?) tank after moving states, and have added a gorgeous Betta named "Brian" as well as a family of 5 bronze Corys. Brian was sold as a Delta tail, but seems to have alot of finnage...is he a super delta maybe? I'm pretty new to Bettas but have had tropical fish for about 6 years now.

Hi Gogee! I'm not Australian, but I am in the country. :p Not Victoria, though - ACT for me.

Brian is super beautiful! His colouring is so vivid, and your tank is gorgeous. Really makes his colour pop. Couldn't help but notice your tank is an AquaOne 620 - how does Brian cope with the water movement? I ask this because I have one that I should hopefully be putting a betta into in a few weeks. :D

Hi Bombalurina thanks for the welcome I think Brian's colour is Royal Blue? I love how his colouring gets brighter when he flares too
Do you think he is a super delta? I'm still learning
As for the 620 the flow is stronger than I'd like, but the main current is only at the back of the tank so not really a big issue. Baffling with filter sponge worked for me though, and also I'm planning to plant heavily (once my other plants arrive!) to help. Brian manages beautifully though, and loves to play in the current...funny bugger that he is
