Does it poop gold or something?

Could someone explain to me why this fish costs $500? I mean, I can see that the markings are a nice butterfly and conformation is good, but I can't see that warranting $500. Beautiful fish, though.

I don't see it either, but I do have to say his fins are GORGEOUS, especially his dorsal.

Hahahaha, I love the title of this thread, "does it poop gold or something?" XD

I can't believe the seller has 4 other fish going for $200.

It's because they are kings/giants. That breeder has been working and culling hard to get those results, first one I have seen with such nice fins but 500 bucks......I don't think so

Ah...so that's the reason. I missed that. Well, I'm REALLY impressed with them now. But I still won't spend $500 on them...

yeah I was looking at them on AQ been looking at giants/kings specifically and these are probably the nicest ones I have seen with that kind of finnage, and I know that breeder has to have been working hard to get those results, if I had tons of money to throw away I would buy them, but alas I don't, Still very beautiful fish and froma breeding standpoint those could save a breeder a ton of time if they wanted to do the same with giants/kings, but I did notice that they are a bit on the smallish side
