Yea it's not like he's defective or anything. Would make a great breeding fish.

I'll try to get a pic of his "bride". She's eaten more than her share of blackworms this evening; she looks like she's going to pop. She is a piggy little fish! I've been "conditioning" her w/ her 8 tankmates. My feeling is that she will be happier w/ her sisters than isolated. So EVERYONE is getting live blackworms for dinner. She is the dominant girl, so she bullies her way to more of the worms.

lol.. but she is most likely not going to be ready for breeding since she is in a tank full of females. Suggestions on conditioning are the way they are because that is what works. She will become bloated from food, but she won't be ready to breed. She is going to need the male to become eggy... so I would condition her the recommended way.

And the more I see your boy, the more I love him :) He is pretty awesome!

Thanks!
The more I observe the way he swims, the arch before his tail can straighten or curve, depending on what he's doing. In full flare, that area arches. I guess f
I guess I will have to pull Glow (female yellow). it's hard to regulate what she eats when she's pulling food out of the other fishes' mouths!
I put in a bid on another deep yellow HM female that's on ebay. She was listed as a "buy it now" for $45, but no one bit (ha). She's re-listed at auction w/ no "buy it now", so I bid $20. We'll see.
