Giant White Spots on my Betta Fish

So, I'm pretty new here, but I thought that maybe I could get some advice from some more experienced betta fish owners. I've had my betta fish for close to a year now. I cleaned my fish's tank about a week ago and since I cleaned it I've noticed that he has had some white spots showing up on him. The first one turned up on the top of his head, its pretty big and covers pretty much his whole head. Then a few days later another one turned up on his side, also pretty large. I'm not sure what's going on. He seems to be acting normal, there hasn't been any change in behavior. He eats his food the same. Swims around. Makes his bubble nests. So nothing abnormal besides the spots.

I'm not sure if someone else has maybe had this happen to their fish? Its as if his normal color peeled off, really strange. I don't have any pictures right now, but I can probably post some later to show what the spots look like.

If anyone can offer any advice it would be helpful.

How often do you perform a water change? 1.5-2 weeks
What percentage of the water do you change when you perform a water change? 100%
What type of additives do you add to the water when you perform a water change? topfin water conditioner

Hardness:
Alkalinity:

Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed? White spots
How has your betta fish's behavior changed? Has not at all.
When did you start noticing the symptoms? Earlier this week.
Have you started treating your fish? If so, how? No treatment
Does your fish have any history of being ill? No.
How old is your fish (approximately)? Unknown. Purchased him in September 2012

Its really hard to say. Are the spots fuzzy? Are you sure he's not changing color? What is your normal water change schedule & how much do you change? What size tank? Is it heated? Does he have tankmates? More info. is really needed to be able to answer & a pic would be very helpful.

Hi, Sorry I just edited my post as you were replying. His spots don't look fuzzy.

They're more like spolotches.

He is probably a marble betta. They change colors

He needs 100% change weekly. He will have quite an ammonia level built up by waiting that long.

It's hard to diagnose anything without photos.
