Nice! Hope you get more plants soon. They like their tank nice and densely planted IME.

Yep, I'll be getting more plants soon. I wasn't sure how many would fit so I just got one to start with, plus I'm adding a castle soon. I know it looks kind of naked now On that note- he does love his leaf and hiding in his plant!

Welcome! I would try a local pet store for a variety of tanks. For me at least they seem to have tons of sizes.

Welcome to the forum and the betta addiction

Silk plants would be great for a temporary fix (if you're going live in the future). Good luck and happy tank arranging.

This may seem like a stupid comments, but I just thought I would let you, as a new betta keeper, know that you may find your fishy draped over his leaf or plant looking dead, but he is really just sleeping (no one told me this and I almost had a heart attack the first time I caught mine doing this).

LOL! Thanks for the tip, I could have used it the other day! He was in front of the filter just getting gently blown around his plant and I thought he was dead! I tapped on the tank and he woke up, what a relief lol. I think he likes the flow of the filter because he always goes over there and lets the current blow on him while using the plant to stay in place. Silly betta

There is a metal wire in the leaf hammock. Just snip the end off and pull out the wire with pliers, and your good! I love your betta and your tank!! Have fun with him! :D

I'm sorry for laughing, but that is too funny. By the way, it wasn't a stupid comment to a first time betta owner. I actually never thought to warn first time betta owners how deeply some bettas sleep, but it makes complete sense to bring it up for first time betta owners.
