So for the first time in all the hours I spent staring at my newly planted tanks, I found an uninvited baby snail and I was like oh dear :T I picked it out but I found two more and Im sure there will be more to come.
Amongst my search for tiny invertebrates that I dont want in the tank, I found this itty bitty sesame-seed shaped thing sitting on a leaf. At first I thought it was a grain of sand rolling around on the bottom of the snail-cup but I realized that it was moving of its own accord. It's too small for me to get a decent pic, and I cant tell what appendages it might have.
It's pale whitish and really tiny? It's movements remind me of a cockroach or those terrestrial mites. It crawls rather than swims, and thats about it.
I know thats not a lot to go off of but any ideas?
