Ok, if it's Velvet then you can do the things I mentioned in a previous post. 100% daily water changes, raise the temperature if you can to about 82 (two degrees a day only), and keep the tank somewhere dark (you can just put a towel over it if you want, that's what I always did). DarkMoon17 has a sticky on diseases and treatments, and recommended the following medications for Velvet (since aquarium salt won't work in this case): "Jungle’s Parasite Clear, API Super Ick Cure, or Kordon Rid Ich Plus".

As for water conditioner, a lot of people use Prime, and I use the Top Fin brand.

Here is the link to the Disease and Treatment thread I mentioned:

No problem! Please keep us updated on how he does, and feel free to ask any other questions you may have. I've had really good luck treating Velvet with the methods I mentioned (though I used aquarium salt) so I hope things go well for you too!

There is no way after 3 months on coppersafe he still has velvet.. Can you confirm how long he's been on this? Please share photos. I don't feel comfortable giving reccomendations without knowing what he looks like.

I suggest Prime as a conditioner - 2 drops per gallon
