Aww thank you. It's pretty harsh here in the art department. I only like about a fourth of what I make if that. xD

I'm a pretty decent facepainter with either paint or eyeshadow,and I'm ok at manga, but I've never been that good at realistic stuff. Then again, I haven't really had time to practice since starting uni. You guys blow me away. :)

oh yeah, you have it hard. I'm a photograghy major and when I talk to the illustration majors they seem so worn out.

I also only draw when I'm in the mood, and I messed up my hand in junior college so I can no longer draw/sculpt as intense. They always complain about the super long life drawing. I took life drawing once, it was a 3 hour class. But they had insanly long classes, Some 5 hours!

(2009)
acrylic, oil, and watercolor. My first time using paints as a adult(other then the water color pallet) and I didn't realize I was using different types lol

My version of what Milotic(pokemon) should look like
2011 digital

My version of Ho-Oh
watercolor

Eagle phoenix bird thing
2010 oils and acrylic

great blue heron
2010 charcoal

I don't have any five hour classes, all of mine are 3. But they have a lot of outside work that needs to be done and I spent about 12 hours over a painting this weekend and im not done and it's due Wednesday.

Your bird drawings are absolutely gorgeous, I have a bit of problems with feathers.

I LOVE the detail of the feathers! I love the Milotic and Ho-oh as well. I like the older Pokemon games, not the newer ones. Besides, the older ones are fun to draw.

You're a very good artist. :3

@Rosalina
Yeah, I'm secretly happy that I went with photograghy rather than illustration. I would be waaay better at painting(seriously, the painting/illustration majors go from ok to flat out fabulous by the end of one semester) but I'm kind of lazy and traditional art takes way too long XD.

I once spent 30 hours on a sculpture, I worked during the day, pulled a all nighter(took a 2 hour nap at 7am) then continued working. I get way to into it and don't want to stop, which is why I now have tendonitis.

@kiara1125
Thanks :D I adore birds, and I also prefer the older Pokemon. the first 2 generations are my favorite.
