I know, right?? I imagine at some point I'll have built (or build myself) a custom acrylic rack system with dividers in all the right places... but until then, I'm going to just make do! LOL!

I did put out a call on my local freecycle for glass tanks, but nobody has responded yet. All my boys are in bowls at the moment (House is warm, water changes are frequent), but i'm working on options to get filters seeded and tanks up and running as quickly as possible :)

I'm thinking 5 gallon rubbermaids with dividers caulked in for the males, and possibly for spawning tanks, and then i'll do female sororities in glass on the bottom shelf, at least for the time being. Not sure what I'm going to do for growouts and for separating out spawns.... I'll work on that one ;)

They are kinda hard to divide because unlike glass/acrylic - they will bow out when there is water in there. It would be like trying to make a divider for a bowfront tank. Just a basic tank - no hood or anything ls like $12 from petco/walmart. I just put craftmesh over the top so they cant jump out

I was literally just coming here to suggest walmart!!! I went there the day after I ordered my tank online (spent 50 bucks for the tank because it came with accessories... lol) and saw a 10 gallon for 15 bucks.. I was so mad! But happy at the same time because at least I know upgrading will be cheaper than I originally thought.
