Additions to 15 gallon!

I want to add some more fish to my 15 gallon. I need top swimmers.

Right now I have:
-5 Cherry Barbs
-4 Peppered Corys

These guys stick more towards the middle/bottom of the tank.

So what would you add? More like a centerpiece fish. Thanks!

I would add more fish to your schools. I know it might not be what you are looking for, but schooling fish are best kept in groups of 6+. Maybe add some shrimp?

The cherry barbs would murder the shrimp haha. I was thinking about adding more cherries but the having been together for over a year and seem pretty happy. The males love their girls, so I don't wanna mess with that. I'm thinking of maybe getting some dwarf neon rainbows fish or Badis Badis.

My friend keeps shrimp and barbs together fine O.o I don't know if I would keep scarlet badis in a community tank; they are very shy and do best in species only tanks. I think the rainbows might be a little cramped in 15 gallons, but they should be okay if it's a long tank.

Badis Badis are different than Scarlet Badis. Scarlet Badis's scientific name is Dario Dario, where as the Badis Badis is Badis Badis. Yeah, I was thinking that to about the rainbows. I'm still thinking.

The dwarf neon rainbows should be kept in a 4 foot tank. As for the badis, it will easily be outcompeted for food in that tank.

I decided not to add anything since the tank is doing well. Once the cherry barbs die off, we are replacing them with Beckford's pencilfish.
