Back in december we were at the local fish store in our mall, and we were looking at bettas they had some really nice white halfmoons but we noticed one cup where the water was dirty inside the cup was a little red/blue crowntail that had fin rot, I won't go into the exchange we had with the idiots at the pet store but we ended up buying him at 75% off. We got him home and had to learn how to treat fin rot, set up a qt tank and used aq salt on him. Here is a pic of him
As you can see this is right after we got the fin rot stopped and he is starting to re-grow his fins. He got his name of twitchy because he would startle easy and was twitchy, and here is twitchy now after 2 months of healing and growing his fins back, I am so happy we could save him and give him a good home.
He wouldn't flare completely for me but you get the idea of how much improvement he has made
