I don't think it's silly at all! Other than long weekends for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's, I haven't been on vacation since I got Murray (male veiltail) and it does concern me. He lives at my office, so I can have my assistant feed him for me in my absence, and turn his light on and off, but for my longer vacation planned this summer, I think I will take him home and have my in-home pet sitter who watches my dogs and cats care for him there.

Its not silly, nothing makes me happier than sitting my room doing some work and looking over seeing Renji staring at me as if he wants to know what I'm doing. And nothing puts a bigger smile on my face when I come home and he swims out to say "hi" in his own way. I never thought I'd get attached to a fish. I have a vacation planned for the summer and I'm anxious about whats going to happen when I'm gone.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one. I got home Sunday night and my babies are alive and well. My girls were really happy to see me and Duck was super happy to see my son. Ice is doing great as well. His fin is healing up nicely.
