Yea. It goes underwater I just don't want to freak him out on his first day.

I got my betta girl some Aqueon Natural Betta Pellets. I also give her some Aqueon Natural Tropical Flakes, as well as some TopFin Natural Tropical Color Enhancing Flakes. I rarely use the flakes because they make Sunshine a bit bloated. And I always soak my betta pellets. I also supplement her diet with frozen blood worms.

I went to PetCo on a low inventory day, no NLS but I did get Omega, nice ingredients. First three are most important, they are what's in there the most. Whole salmon, halibut, shrimp. It is followed with wheat products but then kelp and NO DYES. I do like them and the fish do to. They are more active then they were with tropical food that I was using and Finn's fins are recovering from the community tank nippers we had him with (oops.) The ghost shrimp like them more then the tropical granules to.

I just went through NLS and Omega ingredients and Omega is theoretically better for your fish.
