I am starting the 4gal today. Hopefully be able to transfer him in tomorrow or sometime this week. I am going to pick up a couple more plants to help with the cycle.
75 is fine for the short term. :) Can't wait to see photos!

First day in the Evolve 4. So far so good. He explored around at first, then stopped exploring. I adjusted my power head to hopefully give a better flow, while still having some surface agitation. I also put a Fluval Foam thing in the intake to reduce the flow a little.

He seems to have found his spots he knows he can get relief, where the flow is next to nothing. One place being the intake LOL. He knows he can lean against it for a break.

Not sure if I should turn it down any further, I do not want to negate the filtration system, especially during these first few weeks.

I have caught him a few times finding a nice hiding spot under the plants or behind the rock for relief. He has no issues coming up for air or to eat. And swims around a good amount.

The one concern I have is his aggression towards the tank walls has increased. In his 6 cup container, I would catch him banging into the side like he wanted to go further. He seems to do the same thing in this tank, only much more violently, and will puff out his gills. I am guessing he is seeing his reflection. Should I worry?
