My betta fish of one year, Gibbs (my avatar) passed away a couple days ago from a hole in his throat. My friends were strangely supportive about it (normally they make fun of me and my hobby lol) but I appreciated it. One of them took me out to cheer me up and I ended up buying a girl I had my eyes on for a couple of weeks.
I was never one for girls, but her smooth look, rosy cheeks, and cute little face won me over the moment I first picked up her cup *~* Her name is Fuji Apple, or just Fuji for short.
She got pale from the bumpy ride home :c
ahh she's so cute im gonna die
The water *could've* been worse. The lady at Petco takes relatively good care of the fish and she's boss at catching me my handpicked feeder goldfish lol (She was actually concerned and suspicious when I asked to buy some until I told her they were going into my pond)
Don't let her cute face fool you... The moment I set her free, she proceeded to take a bite out of everything she saw... the copepods (she's actually grazing on them, awesome), the substrate, the fuzzy stuff here and there, plant leaves, plant roots, the driftwood, etc lol...
wow what a cutie
