They do Sakura. That's why they're so valued. O_O

Had, I only have 3 tanks (plus the betta). xD I just stock a lot.

20 gallon (looks a lil different now):

15 gallon (hard to take pics since it's so close to the ground and in an awkward spot):

How big do they grow?
Both species are 2-2.5" long at max (well with the tail the male swordtails will hit 5").
Better for my hard water. xD Finally found a good fit for myself.

Am I the only person who fills their tanks all the way up past the black rim? Every tank I see is below the rim. Am I not supposed to fill it up all the way? Is there some secret I don't know, like if you fill the tank up all the way it cracks or something? I do it to minimize the sound of the filter return.

It must be dinner for the 20gal, everyone is hovering around. This tank is the only non-betta tank I have that will come and feed for me. Every other tank, I toss the food in and hope for the best. Well, sometimes Sparky tries to hand feed. I'm still not sure if he wants to feed from my hand or feed ON my hand.

I fill up to the rim on my 20 gal, but not on any of my other tanks. I probably will in one of the two fry tanks as well (another 20 gal).

Darn that they don't seem to be commonly available in Australia. One of the only posts I found about them was in 2005 and they were selling at $35 a fish.

Shame that they get overlooked in favour of the artificial aquarium strains.
