He's been doing this. Gills not moving. Just floating straight up like this. His color is better. He'll swim sometimes, but it's a really lopsided swim and always at the surface. What do I do? Euthanize? Hope the salts work? Help :(

Thanks for the condolences. I don't think I'll be trying again with bettas. Not until I can afford a better tank and heater.

Oh my goodness, I am so sorry that he died :( Reading through this made me so sad. I'm scared for my fish right now, who is swimming erratically and doing some similar stuff to what your fish was doing. Poor little guy :( SIP, buddy.

SIP, Paris. I'm so sorry for your loss. You shouldn't give up on bettas. The best way to cope with losing one is getting another one.

Poor betta boy. I'll be praying for you, I know losing any pet is hard. I can't imagine what it will be like when I lose Sunshine...
