+1 on Sparrowhawk's comments. And don't get discouraged if you think he's *finally* stopped, but you walk in one morning, and he's shredded it all over again!

My Neil shredded his beautiful tail once because I moved his tank away from Chappy's tank Once I moved it back, he was fine. Bettas can be bratty at times! Now he leaves it alone, and it's getting better.
