My Betta "SeaGate"

I know this sub is titled Betta Pictures, but, I hope I am allowed to post a YouTube link.

My little guy was bloated last night and i was quite worried as he was floating on his side.

With the help of people on this site, I was able to get him back to health.

Here is a small clip of him (what appears to be looking for food under the marbles) swimming and exploring his 10 gallon tank :)

Thanks for your help bettafish.com !!!!!

this could be dropsy its when you feed him too much and mine does that too. just feed him a frozen pea (boil first then freeze then heat in microwave ). hes constipated they cant have a lot of food a day i feed mine 2 a day (1 pinch of betta food) so you should be carefuller on feeding. they have small digestive system (sorry if doesn't show up click on link :

it could be dropsy from over feeding ( i feed mine twice a day "2 sprinkles a day " )
you could feed him a pea for constipation ( 1.buy freezer bag 2. boil 3. freeze again 4. microwave 5. give to betta 6. hope he poops ) click on link to betta diseases :

Dropsy isn't caused by over feeding, it's caused by fluid build up under the skin brought on by either a bacterial infection or organ failure.

OP you boy is lovely! And he looked happy and healthy now!! Great job
