moss plantt

Petsmart told me to put one of their rootless moss plants in my betta tank. I asked him if its safe and he said yes and it will help make the water cleaner. Its pretty small and seems ok but what all do I need to know about this? And is it ok?

If you're talking about a marimo moss ball then there isn't much you need to do if anything. I have one in a couple of my tanks & I just leave them be, so far no problems. Some people have had issues with them shedding but I've not experienced that.
