That would be cool! I loved Gandalf's cellophane color when I saw him. At the time I'd never seen or heard of a betta that color, the only bettas I'd seen at the time were either all red or all blue. To be honest when he started changing color I thought he had septisemia because it started with red streaks going from his body down into his fins and tail. Then found out he was a marble and was a little bummed that he was turning red because it was....dare I say....so common... but I love him anyway! And who knows maybe he will change again. He does have some bluish greyish muted puplish sorta color in his tail lol

I breeder friend of mine has a lot blue marbles and they change color all the time even as adults. Some times major changes in just a few days.

Bettysplendens is IMO one of, if not the best betta centric website out there. I highly recommend checking out her site whether you own a single betta or breed for a living. I like marbles.

If u're talking about the fish in your avatar's pic..then that one looks like a male to me.

Marble gene bettas (not all marble color have the marble gene) are awesome!

See the blue betta and the white/black betta next to it in my signature? Those are the same exact betta. He changed from royal blue to pure white, then to white and red, then finally mostly black with some white and red before he passed away. I never knew about the marble gene until he started changing colors and we spent a few months trying to "cure" him to no avail.

If yours has the marble gene, I suggest taking photos every so often, because comparing them the before and after photos is really fun!
