Well i have been treating with epson salt for 7 days and have seen little or no improvement. I did manage to find some nls pellets for all my fish and they all seem to really like that brand. How ever I could not find any daphania frozen or live so I have been feeding him a pellet or two every other day and twice I put some live bbs in his tub. So looking at him today he is not looking good. Dull color inflamed gills, labored breathing and not overly excited to eat. Going to bring him back to fresh water today since I think the epson salt is starting to burn his gills. He has been pooping a lot more since I started with the salt. Brown tear drop shape that usually get stuck. It has been quite warm here all week about 75 to 85. He is at the point were i feel I need to do some thing drastic to fix but I don't know what?

This image was taken a few days ago. You can see how swollen his swim blader is.

I can't see the image.

Fish don't feel pain like we do, so feel rest assured on that. (:

Epsom Salt usually does increase stools as it acts as a laxative as well as an internal treatment for ailments. It is good that you are quitting him from the salt, though, as it is usually not suggested to treat for more than a week. You could treat at 0.5 tsp/gal if the SBD symptoms are still appearing, though, as it is important that we get rid of this.

Well he died last night. I did drain the swollen area after he was dead just to see if was air or fluid and it was just trapped air. Any way thanks for everyone's help!
