I got 3 bulbs with the tank and one was broken. :( One is blue and the other one is a regular bulb. I have the blue one in for now. I'd like to leave the tank light on when I'm gone, if its going to be dark after I get home. I guess it will be ok?
Jaden seems to like his new tank. He's been very active and has even blown a small bubblenest in a cornerof the tank. yay! I got my new digital thermometer. I don't know how good its working though. The temp seems to fluctuate a bit. I think I need to put the sensor a little deeper and maybe a bit closer to the heater.

your best bet would be to have the heater on one side and the thermometer on the other.
ok, thanks. The heater is in the back and the thermometer is in the front. My heater seemed to be not working tonight but I unplugged it and plugged it back in and I'll see what happens. Just what I need is for my new heater to go bad. ugh!
