When my betta boy Draco passed away, I really missed him. Still do. So, I got another betta boy. He's a brilliantly bright red and I named him Mozart because he moves like music through water.
Now, Draco was my first betta boy, which makes Mozart my second. Here's my question... is it normal for these little guys to have such different personalities?
Draco was fairly high-strung and well...spazzy. Mozart seems like a much more mellow, intellectual soul. Draco was the only fish on the shelf that was fighting to get out of the cup and never passed up a chance to flare at me unless I had food for him. Mozart was settled in to his cup, making a bubble nest in it and calmly observing me as I checked out all the other fish. When Draco moved into the 5-gallon tank, he took over like king of the world. Mozart was scared by the current created by the filter system and hit under a rock chanting "I want my cup back." But he was chilling and bubblenesting by morning.
I know I'm new to this and this is probably a silly question, but are these kinds of differences normal?
