Howdy Ya'll!!!

Hey guys!

Glad to join this nice forum dedicated to my favorite fish! My name is Natasha and I live in southeast TN. I have a wonderful husband and 2 rambunctious boys ages 5 1/2 and almost 2. I have 7 running fish tanks at the moment that averages out to around 180 fish -- 95% of them bettas. :D

I keep/breed wild species of betta. I currently own 4 species of wild betta and breed 3 species (the 4th species -- I don't have any adults yet so the breeding will come when they are big enough). The ones I have at this moment are:
Betta Albimarginata (2 F1 pairs and aprox 80 fry)
Betta Simplex (1 pair)
Betta Midas (1 WC pair and aprox 40 fry)
Betta Unimaculata (8 juvies)

I also have 2 splenden males because I just can't get away from the beauty that they have. I have a black rosetail HM and a cello/pastel marble male that was bought as a baby betta at Petco and I haven't seen him flare yet to get a fix on his tail type yet.

I can't wait to start meeting fellow betta lovers and help where I can.

Hi Natasha, welcome to the forum

That's a crazy amount of betta fry. What are you going to do with all of them?

The betta in your avatar is stunning. Is it one of yours?

Thanks! The avatar is a drawing a friend done for me of one of my male betta albimarginata. It is a lot of fry and I am due more sometime this week. My male betta simplex is holding and due to release fry early this week and my male betta midas is holding again as well and should release late this week or early next week. As for what I plan on doing with them all...when they get to around 3 months, I will be selling them or trading with other wild type breeders for other wild bettas.
