I got a betta recently, after several years of goldfish raising, but unlike the goldfish, Alpha seems to be a really picky eater. I strongly suspect the pet store had been raising them on only bloodworms, as he will not take anything else.
It's been several days, and after dropping in a mixture of flakes and freeze dried bloodworms, he's gone for the bloodworms, and within 10 seconds they're gone, then given the flakes a disdainful glare. This have been going on for a couple days now, and since I'm afraid to give him too many of the bloodworms (or he'll get even more spoiled than he already is) so he's only had about 5 or 6 bloodworms in a span of five days. I was wondering if you guys had any tips on how to transition him onto a staple. I've tried 3 brands of flakes, and 2 of pellets. I also know of the garlic juice trick, but he doesn't seem to take to it.
Thanks for the help C:
