Though the 5 gallon i have, and am going to put a delta/hm in, will prob be full. but hopefully by then i will have another one

If I do decide to breed I will have bettas all over my house!! Actually, I think I'd need a large wire shelf unit that I could use heating cable under the shelves....

Hmmm, and then that would make it even easier to bring tons of bettas home lol!

! I figured you'd need that 5 gal, I mean who can resist having an empty tank lying around

. Oh, and Diva would be so upset if I sent her boyfriend away, she's in love...too bad all their babies would be VT or I'd breed those two.

*sigh* figured. If you breed Cassanova, would his offspring be same colored as him/the mom? I don't really care, i just don't know anything about fish genetics and all

Depends on who I bred him to. Fish genetics is so confusing. I guess the colors are in layers with different genes showing up on different pigment layers and of course you have some genes that are dominant, recessive, codominant...it's a lot to know. I think I'll take the easy way out and just ask on another forum where they have a genetics section :P

I "think" since they are both mulitcolored (Edelweiss has gotten pink on her fins with red dots and she actually looks quite cute with them) that the fry would also be mostly multicolored, but I'll have to check.

I don't think Kim will have any trouble getting rid of her babies. So many of us want some! lol
