Yea, it's more based on American stuff though. But I'm sure Canada is pretty similar, right? o.O

Wow. He's a great orator. All dat sugar. I want to teach people how to cook bc I understand the importance of doing so (hey, I grew up dirt poor, mom worked full time in retail to make sure we had a place to live.. Food consisted of fries, fried junk, canned pastas like alpha-getti) but Only my younger sister and I came out cooking fresh good food. My other sister, with a child, doesn't cook. I try teaching the two of them how simple it is. Small steps.

Also, Jamie Oliver is a hunk! Looks like my boy Claude Giroux.

I think it's a little different in Canada bc I was thinking of fast food places offering fruit and milk (packed with sugar still) and I know my grocery stores (Loblaws and Sobeys) offer free quarterly recipe magazines with coupons and recipes and ideas for quick seasonal meals.

The most astounding realization that link gave me was when he connected fast food to the "conditioning" in schools in which kids don't get knives and forks.

Apparantly my reflexes are like a 45 year olds. The link takes you to a Harvard test where they get you to click dots and then they determine your age. I'm like, "you guys are like 20 years off!"

That was quite off! They said that I had the reflexes of a 33 year old... Just about 20 years off compared to other sites that do this...

Yeah, technology should be a handicap in those tests.

So you guys thought YOU slept in? I got up at 3 PM. zzzZZZzzzz I think I was compensating for yesterday when I was woken up at the crack of dawn by cat pee.

LBF, I'm not sure, I can't get a positive answer but I think Black Caviar was retired? That or she's going to race in Queensland. Her facebook page was a little confusing.

I just got an awesome little LED fixture for my 5.5gal from Finnex. The Boyu one I had was about to blow up, if the too-hot-to-touch adapter was any indicator. Loving this little LED fixture. I also got their compact canister filter to supplement my 20gal and I'm loving that too. Now if only the plants would cooperate . . .
