Ok now the way water is cycled through out country it that the towns and states closest to the coast will have the water that has been through the most purifying process. So all you'll need to do is take normal tap water without adding anything and test it with the 'FreshWater Master Kit'. If you do that let me know what you get but the kit is about 20 dollars on Amazon.com or 30 from petco. It's not required if he is improving though.


Did you change is water? And bubble nest only means he's ready to breed or that his conditions have improved enough that he feels its safe for babies

Well he becomes active then just sits there and yes I did about 20 minutes ago cuz I didn't want to mess this up and for a second he was only moving one fin but now hr is using both

My girls will do the only one fin too and I believe it's just a way of resting one for a minute.

Ok good he is probably just happy to not be dehydrated so he should be fine :) I say just get the drops and use only that for your water conditioner

And ill get that too and jw cuz I have seen alot of different answers with my tank now until I get a new one how often should I change the water and how much of the water should I change?

also I am worried about his tail cuz I only used the salt once which was yesterday cause I thought it would help but obviously not but it kind of looks like tail rot his tail looks a little jagged but not really bad
