Which Water Test Kit?

I got a pH test kit a few days ago and then someone told me I needed ammonia and other stuff... Now, I can still return the pH test but which one do I get after that?

Thanks,

The minimum/must have is the Ammonia test kit The Master Test kit has everything. I would say return the pH test kit, since you only need to measure it once by taking tap water to the store and have them test the pH for you.

Get an API or Sera test kit off of Amazon. Much cheaper.

Depending on size and if you are planning on cycling the tank you need ammonia nitrITES and nitrATES. For the price of bying all 3 separate you could vet the api master test kit that comes with high range pH and pH
