I guess if you can't get a new tank than just work with what you have and expect them to die eventually because the pleco will get way too big for a one gallon.
And, please learn a lesson from this, betta freak. Don't buy fish unless you can have an adequate aquarium now.
10 gallon tanks around here cost about 11 bucks without any of the extras (hoods, lights, etc). Add taxes in and that's 12-13 bucks, so ah, yeah, actually you can afford one.
Geeze wish I could get a 10 gallon that cheap, cheapest around here is 40 bucks that I can find...

If you love your fish Bettafreak find a way, if you can't then I suggest you give it back for free, Thats what I did when I first bought a pleco and a Dragon goby, then when I found out just how big they got well I knew I had to do something cause I Decided I wasn't going over a 20 gallon and they both need biggg tanks.... Take a min ute and Think about the fish plz...
