Oscar....

We finally bought a betta, his name is Oscar! He is purpleish blue with a little yellow on his head. He is in a 10 gal. tank with 2 guppies that were in the tank that we bought him out of. They seem to be getting along pretty well. We are going to check into finding a few more friends for him to swim with!! How many are too many fish to put in a tank with him?? I noticed at the store they had him in with about 20 fish, and he didn't seem to mind. He already likes the attention the kids have hardly left the tank since we put them in it.

you could get either a pair of ADFs, or some shrimp, or a small school of tetras or rasboras, or a few cories, or maybe a sunset platy..... there are a lot of optoins if your betta is getting along well with guppies!
