No offense, but your females are 2 rays and most are more of a round tail. Further, they have odd looking bodies (except #2 and 3). And there might be something wrong with #5 (cloudy eyes).

Breed them to a nice bodied male with excessive ray branching.

The cloudy eye is from the way the picture was taken. You can see the mark on the tank itself. As for bodies, I have them now. The finnage is long but the body size is the same as my "expensive females" bought from an ebaly breeder. Eye's are bright..very active and alert.

As for rays...again, new at this and learning so, not looking for showing. Learn as I go along. 4 males show quality but, I didn't buy for that reason. I mainly bought for the beauty of them.

I guess we will see how it goes. Thanks!

A breeder off of ebay that I have purchased two others from before. I will be probably seeing about buying females from him as well. He usually only advertises the males but you can make deals for partner breeds.

Question:

If these are not easily bred with halfmoons, can someone show me an example of what type of male to breed them with? Or, if they would breed well with any fish I have posted?

Thanks

Your males are gorgeous (ALL).
Male #1 has rather hunch back, like the females. So you will have a lot of those in fry. But he has great finnage and you should produce at least few fry with 4 or more rays (specially in the males).

Male #2 has better body/topline and would compliment you females as well.
