I need Platy help! Fast!

So I have had this white mickey mouse platy for about a month and she recently had babies about a week ago. Ever since she has been very skinny and anorexic. She tries to rub on the other platy and she swims kind of weird. Her color is kind of dull and she has some ragged scales on her head, no where else. I also noticed that she is pooping a clear stringy thing. I would like to know what's wrong and what I should get at petco tomorrow.

Parasites by the look of it. If she will eat, get the medicated anti-parasite food, otherwise you will need to look for one of the medications that works for internal problems.

I went to Petco and bought a .75 gallon Kritter keeper
with a heater and thermometer. All that they had for
Parasites and stuff was Lifeguard so I got that. She is in there
Being treated now. Hopefully this all helps!

Internal parasites suck big time... I would recommend maybe dosing your community tank as they are contagious. Even if they do not show signs now, they may later on. Internal parasites tend to change the look of poo as well... White, stringy, broken up strands that also may appear transparent in spots.

If you can, put the sick one in a breeder's net or box so she remains in sight and never bullied. Other fish tend to pick on the weakest and sadly... She is the weakest.

Sadly I can't put her in one. :( I don't know if she is doing better today, I put some food in and she isn't eating. I can definitely see some of her parasitic poo in there, so I'm happy that I did seperate her out.

Not eating is one of the further signs of the parasites. Keep an eye on her.
