Two questions

Firstly, if I have a male betta, what are my options for trying to get another betta of any type in the tank with it. I'd like more than one but don't want to have to buy another tank. Second, how do snails work with bettas? i'm thinking about a golden mystery snail

What size tank? If its 10gal or larger you can devide the tank in half and add another betta.
Two male bettas can not be housed together, they will fight.
Some bettas will be fine with snails, others bettas will pick at snails, really depends on the personality of your betta, it may not work.

Thanks. In that case i'll keep a better watch on my betta and think about the snail. My tank is much smaller than that.
