i'm a lil bit indecisive, need some suggestions

so i hav one betta and 2 ghost shrimps in my 10gal tank.

i am not sure what wuold be the best combination. 4-5 tetras, 1 pleco, along with the existing tank mates...or 3 corys and 3 platys along with the existing tank mates

Some of my platies gets along well with my betta's
Some don't, They like to follow behind and grab on the long fins, like its food or something.
Now with female bettas they all get alone fine, it's just the males,

I know neon tetras live fine with them. I have two zebra danios in my tank right now along with my betta. They don't even notice each other. That's a good thing though.

I thought i read that some tetras dont do well with bettas. maybe the bigger tetras? i saw a tankful of tetras tear apart a betta. quite sad.

Probably shouldn't put bettas in with tetras

Two days ago I watched one of my bigger bettas chow down on one of my tetras. I have two bettas in a divided tank but the tetras can get through to both sides. By the end of the day there was nothing left of that poor little tetra. I believe there is another thread about combining bettas with tetras.

Someone told one of my neighbors that she could put a betta with tetras. I told her I didn't think that was a good idea. She didn't think so either so she's going to keep one by himself.
