a peaceful fish tank?

I wouldn't get anything else for their current bowls.

You can get a five gallon tank and divide it in two--each fish would have 2.5 gallons. That would be a little cheaper than a 10 gallon divided, but not by much. You could go to a pet store and see if they have any "critter keepers." They might be in the reptile section, you'll just have to look around. These are fairly inexpensive. You can usually find a 2.5 gallon one. I'd say they are probably a few bucks here in the US. But they are cheaper than getting a real aquarium, and they come with lids already so you don't have to worry about jumping fish.

I use critter keepers and they work just fine. I have a 1.5 gallon and a 2.5 gallon.

Yeah petco has plain 10g's for $10 and walmart has them for $12, then you would need a divider which is also $10. But these do no include the heater and such but thats only $15 at walmart, so for a small price of $35 you can have the happiest little bettas ever.

This makes me sad. I use to have a critter keeper. It was like...2.5 gallons, and then my cousin broke it...so convenient.

But yeah, if I do get the tank soon, any recommendations for any specific type of plant? I know a place that supplies a great bevy of plants.
