Question Parasite or gravel?

I saw a white spot on my betta today, not sure if it's a small piece of gravel or a parasite. If it is gravel, does it fall off naturally over time, or what?

Sorry if the picture is kinda blurry.

Thanks in advance,

LakeSpark.

I dont think its gravel. But does your tank have aeration? Small bubbles chould get stuck to your betta. It could also be a scale that may be coming off.

I think it's a scale coming off, since we have a silencer for our filter.

Thanks for the suggestion!
