Question What to Feed?

I got a new betta finally. Got a small female crown tail, or that was what she was labeled. Got her all set up in the old 1.5 gal because i think she's a little small for the 5 gal that was Kai's. Tanks a little crowded looking cause my only decoration is a porcelain vase but she doesnt seem to mind. If it works i attached a pic of her from the petstore.
The pellets they feed them at the store are a little big for her head though :/
I plan on trying to see if she'll eat them crushed, but is there a better option to have my mom do while I'm at school for the week? Currently have Topfin Betta Bits, not sure if I should go back for flakes or if theres another brand with smaller pellets?

Okay first of all. Do you have a heater? That's vital to a healthy fish. The tank is a tad small, but at this point a heater is a much higher priority.

For the food. I don't have experience with Top Fin food so I'm actually not sure how big they are. You could look into Omega One pellets. The container has a label on it, but it's a somewhat clear container so you could compare the size.

I think New Life Spectrum might be even smaller as well.

get the small fish formula.. .5mm. I even feed it to my adults. Takes more thann a few. But a good size and the fish don't get bloated. Freeze dried tubifex is also good.

Guess I'm heading back to the store to get new food lol
Yes she has a heater, trained from the last fish, it's just the terra fin betta bowl heater.
She settled in overnight, stress stripes almost completely gone and color back. She seems quite happy with the space compared to the cup lol
