Question Heater wattage

I was wondering if I could get away with using a 25w heater in a 10 gallon tank? It has an adjustable setting on it so I can turn up the heat if I'd like.
I know a 50w is usually used with a 10 gallon.
Suggestions are welcome!

i guess that be okay as long as you can adjust it so that if it gets a little cold then you can raise the temp

You can try it and see what happens and if it doesn't work out, you can go with a 50 watt.

With all the "unsures" I might just stick with a 50w, no need to test it if I know for sure the 50w will work just fine.
Thanks for the help!
