hey every one! thanks for your comments on my last weeks thred about my weird water issues, i did a 100% water change (omg getting bells out of the water was the biggest challenge of my life! i bought her a fishnet yesterday incase of another emergancy lol) boild her gravel to ensure disinfection and she seems to be doing wonderful, so wonderful in fact that she has blown a rather larg bubble nest on the top of "her" tank! Now when i got bells she was very small, small fins and not alot of color and her fins still dont seem very large so im a little lost lol.
Question: is it alright to disturbe the bubble nest? its time for a 50% water change

If your betta is blowing a bubblenest, its probably a male. A female has a white eggspot.

Yes its ok to disturb the nest, they might be angry but they will soon forget.

Can we have a side pic of the betta to see if its a male or female,my female has blown bubbles around the inside of her tank, I suppose if she were to gather them in one spot rather than spread around the edge it might look like a nest.

Females will blow a few bubbles but mine mostly scatter theirs around than build an actual nest.

well iv tryed to get a decent side picture but my camra is awful, i examind for the white spot and cant seem to find one im just going to assume bells is a boy lol.

Yep, if you cannot find it (and it can be pretty obvious) then it's a boy!
