filter suggestions

hey everyone, i finally bought a 10 gallon tank tonight, wooooot.

i have to make a trip to petco and walmart tomorrow to get some more gravel and decorations to put in it, and more importantly, get a filter. i know that some filters produce pretty strong currents so i want to make sure i stay away from those. do any of you guys have suggestions on what kinda filter i should get? any help would be mucho appreciated

as soon as i get everything i can't wait to post pictures of the tank and show you my newest betta, Critter! he's such a pretty lil guy!

A sponge filter should be sufficient enough. You don't have to go over anything else for a 10g with a betta only.

I find that the whisper filter is pretty mild in comparison to other brands. Make sure that you buy the right size for your tank!!!
