He doesn't have it enough that it shows up on camera or else I would :(. Kinda. He isn't covered all the way with it. It's just appearing at the tips of his fins.

Okay so now there's enough white stuff on his fins that it shows up in a picture. Since talking to you, I did a 100% water change, returned the pemafix, and bought a heater. His water went up to 74. Here is the picture. What do you recommend I do to treat this now going forward?

Okay so I haven't heard back from anyone about what's wrong and now a second betta has the white mucusy stuff trailing from their fins and the first betta has it worse now. I change their water 2x per week and have heaters in all the tanks and they are all between 75-80. It seems like this crap is coming and going, and I was researching ich and I don't think that's what they have. Help??

Have you started treating him for fungus yet if the aq. salt hasn't worked? Seriously, check out Maracyn if it's not getting any better. I'm not knowledgable about the meds in the US, but I have had a good look at them. Hopefully somebody else will help you as well. Check out the disease thread on here too.:) Definitely take some action if it keeps getting worse. Good luck!

Okay this is super frustrating. I have done everything you guys say, but the marcel because it is in powder form and SUPER hard to measure. I have done the salt as well. Nothing is working. They still have this white stuff trailing on their fins. Their tanks are heated at about 86 and they are 1 gallon each. I have no idea where I should turn next. Even though their quality of life hasn't changed, I am concerned about this white traily stuff. :(
