Hi there,
Here in Australia Betta are often sold in a single unheated container and seem to do well, so i think his chances are good.
Cheers Jewels

Thanks Jewel. He seems to be doing good today,he is swimming around and blowing bubbles. I added some aquarium salt and another dose of Bettafix. His tank water is a nice toasty 80 degrees.

Yikes. You're way too young to have heart problems! Glad you're feeling better and that the tests checked out ok. I'm glad you're home as I'm not sure Elvis would have made it through another day without you!!

Yeah no kidding. I was so afraid he was dead when i couldnt find him. But I did and he was barely hanging on. There is history of heart disease in my family,so i guess its possible.

think an air bubbler or stone would be good for him? Im gonna get one anyways, but i thought it might help a little..I dunno...lol whatever it takes...luckily my cats have left him alone up on the counter...guess they over the fish thing now haha...they ignore my pandas that are down here too...yay...

I got the air stone in. He was very curious as to what i was doing. He checked it out. Not sure what he thinks of it yet. He wont eat the medicated pellets,so Ill just give him the regular since he is being treated in the water anyways. Ill keep yall updated on his progress.
