Cuts on my bettas fins

I have a female betta and i just got her. Today i noticed that she has to little cuts on her bottom fin. I think she may have gotten then when i put another female in the tank and they started fighting. I seperated them quickly but i think she may have gotten little nips out of that fin.( side note the people at the pet store told me it was okay to have 2 girls, now i know otherwise from this awesome forum!) It looks like a rip that now has a little black dot on the bottom, kinda like a scab or like its healing. My question is, if i leave it alone will it grow back or get worse? I dont think its a disease since i just got the tank 2 days ago and checked all the leaves and did a 50% water change today. Also, i have a low flow filter. It is a 2.5 gallon tank. Thankyou! For a 2.5 gallon tank I'd do a full change once a week or do partial changes twice a week and a full change once a month. I don't know why petstores tell people that its ok to put 2 females together in a small tank. Females CAN live together but the tank has to be big enough, there has to be plenty of hiding spots and there needs to be 4 or more females to spread out the aggression. If there are only 2 then one becomes dominant and picks on the other one. I would just keep her water very clean and keep an eye on her.
