Reflection

I just got my 2nd Betta ( my first lived a year and a half and died) the new one has been in a 1 gallon tank with a filter now for about a day and half. I think he may be trying to fight his reflection and I don't want this to be something that will harm him. He doesn't slam himself into the sides but he seems to nip at the glass all the time. He swims around fast like hes running from something then nips back at the glass across from him.
Is this what is happening?? Will this harm him??

I think he'll settle down after awhile. He just sees his reflection.

Do you think he's gettin' used to the current of the filter? Could explain all that swimmin' around fast .. xD

But yeah, I think he might just settle down after a while! Sorry I couldn't be of more help!
