seriously confused

So when i got Ankur he was in a cup labled Male Delta tail, but the more i look at male deltas he doesnt look so much male...... what do you guys think??? His name translates to Blossom, so its an easy fix, but im just confused.....

If the fish has a white eggspot, or ovipositor then its a female.

Yes, look for the eggspot on the belly area. If there is one there, it's a female.

ill have to do that when i clean the tank next. i tried just looking but i couldnt see anything, maybe if i can see from the bottom it will be easier to tell.

You can put him/her in the cup he/she came in and get a better look underneath.

Looking at the pic...I think he is a he as he doesnt have a small belly of eggs.
Now I know when conditioning females will produce a full belly of eggs...but they will always have some without them needing to fertilize them!
